Handouts include recipes for turning your garden plants into your own do-it-yourself spa.

 

NOON Jan Burns, Herbalist: Using Your Herbal Harvest in Your Kitchen: Jan talks about recipes and ways to use and preserve fresh herbs harvested from our gardens.

 

1 P.M. Michele Dunham, Advanced Master Gardener: Get Ready, Get Set, Grow! Learn about growing great kids in children’s gardens from Michele’s first-hand experience.

 

2 P.M. Kathy, Karisa and Kelsey Huxford of Magnificent Monarchs: An introduction to the magical world of butterflies: basic butterlfy facts, their lifecycle, the dangers butterflies overcome in order to survive and what we can do to help these amazing creatures thrive.

 

3 P.M. Brad Morgan, Owner, Morgan Composting Managing Soils for Water Quality: Brad answers your compost questions after a video presentation illustrating proper composting and organic methods to revitalize your soil.

 

4 P.M. Iris: Wind Down & Wrap Up: Q&A all about lavender. Iris will also sign her books, Encouraging Words for All Seasons and Growing Lavender and Other Poems.
